A Tea Party In Egypt?

In March of 2009 the “Tea Party Movement” started here in America, and what the world observed was a peaceful dissent that caused the house from Progressive rule to Republican power, all without any violence, other than what was brought on by the Progressives. I believe that is exactly what you are seeing take place in Egypt. In my heart I think they took our lead, saw it can be done and after the police killed someone who they were not happy with, a “Tweet” heard around the world started what culminated today with the “President” of Egypt stepping down, something that will either wind up in a democracy being born in the Middle East, or the Muslim Brotherhood gaining control of even more of that area of the world, leaving Israel in real peril.

Say what you might about President Bush, liberating millions of people in Iraq and Afghanistan, may have been the price paid to start this peaceful movement towards a Western Democracy to a place where only Dictators, Kings, and Pharaohs ruled for more years that I can count in my small head. If you consider the “Tea Party Movement” and observing freedom being gained around them, Egypt may have, like others appear to be considering around that part of the world. Freedom is contagious, and peaceful dissent is proving a means to find that freedom, but it is only one baby step towards getting to the end of the road to what we have known for a couple of hundred years, and they have not known for thousands.

So, let us pray for the Egyptian people and pray that they win what we have, not what the Muslim Brotherhood would bring to them. They want what we have, let’s help them get their through prayer; it will be to our benefit and the worlds. Egypt has their “Tea Party Movement”! (I wonder, has Glenn Beck taken his chalk boards to Egypt?)
